Why am I not able to join the Facebook Group Page?

Please note that our intention is not to avoid anyone from joining the Group, but to help prevent spam as there are many of this on Facebook.

Membership & Rules

When you join the group, you would have been asked to complete the membership questions and agree to the Group Rules that has been displayed on multiple places as per below. Should you prefer not to answer the questions correctly or not to agree to the Group Rules, then we will respect your choice however, you will not be able to join the group and may get either declined or banned. If you have already joined the Group and disrespect the rules then you may either get a warning, your profile may be removed (and you can join again), or you may get banned, depending on the situation.

Legitimacy

If we do not have sufficient reason to believe that you are currently living in NZ or have the right to work here, then we may ask you to provide proof such as Passport or Drivers Licence and Work Permit. If you want to join as an Employer then we may also ask for you Registered Company name, your Business title and contact number, and we will make calls. If such proof are not as requested or visually unclear/vague/incomplete then we may not approve your request to join.

Social Media Profile

We respect that you can do with your personal page as you wish however, bear in mind that the job searching service is part of this media and potential employers may look at your profile to give them a better understanding of who you are and what you are looking for before they contact you. Should they land on a profile that apear to be empty, fake, repulsive, locked, non-english, gang related, no profile image, violent content or does not indicate that you are living in NZ then it would be the employers choice if they would consider you or not. As a result, we will make informed decisions based on the available information that we have to the best of our discretion.

Forbidden words:

By using certain fatuous words surely indicates that you are not seriously looking for work, in which case we will not be able to assist you. The following words or similar words are forbidden and you may get banned by using this:

• "Interested" or "More details" - The question is, what response are you expecting from an employer with this? Why are you saying this in the first place? Do you perhaps want more information about something? Then ask for that information so that the employer can respond to you properly.
• "PM me" - Again, what response are you expecting from the employer? You never ask an employer to contact you. If you want to know something (perhaps how you can apply), then ask for that, but you should PM the employer in the first place.
  
• "Do you pay cash"? - This is illegal and you know it, therefore you can be assure to get banned.
  

Spam

Any user who abuse any of our staff in any way or send links to our Inbox will be considered as spam and will get banned as a result.
