You know that you are a great worker, but the Employer don't know this, and you should tell them. Therefore, an Excerpt (or Statement or Pitch) is:
A sweet and short, well-thought attention grabber to described to the potential employer why you believe that you would be an asset to their business, which may lead them to look further into your application.
It is not about:
- A summary of your Resume
- To tell the Employer why you need the job
- Providing your contact details
- What you are looking for
It is only about what you can offer
